SCHOOL BUS CONDUCT

At the beginning of the school year, the regulations pertaining to students riding school buses shall be distributed to all students.  Responsibility for discipline of students riding buses shall rest with the principal.  The bus operator however, shall be responsible for maintaining proper conduct of all students who are riding the bus.  Any disciplinary problems encountered on a school bus shall be reported by the operator to the principal of the school the student attends, by completing and submitting a School Bus Behavior Report.  If possible, this must be done in person.  It is the responsibility of the principal to determine necessary punishment to students violating school bus conduct regulations.

A student who causes damage to a school bus shall be subject to suspension from school and shall not be readmitted until acceptable provisions for restitution have been made for such damage or until readmittance is directed by the Superintendent.

Any misbehavior on the bus or when going to or returning from school may result in temporary or permanent loss of bus riding privileges.  In this case, transportation to and from school becomes the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
